DISTRICT PLAN

Valley Stream District 30 follows a series of required district plans that keep schools safe, effective, and aligned with New York State Education Department regulations. Each plan connects to the district mission and aligns with the Strategic Plan and Board of Education policies. Plans receive annual or biannual review for accuracy and effectiveness. Required committee members serve on each plan, with appointments approved by the Board each July at the Reorganization Meeting. Staff, administrators, and parents participate in the review process. These plans guide daily operations, meet state requirements, and support the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student.
