We are proud to stand together as one community, united by the shared vision of educating, inspiring, and celebrating our students to reach their full potential as Global Leaders of Tomorrow. Over the past several years, your resilience, collaboration, and unwavering commitment to our students have been the foundation of our district’s success, even during the most challenging times. Under the leadership of our Superintendent, Dr. Garcia-France we are excited to announce a two-year extension of our 2020-2025 Strategic Plan. This extension, approved by the Board of Education during the 2023-2024 school year, recognizes the unique challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and ensures we have the time and resources to fully realize the goals of the plan.

Our work continues to be guided by the P-12 Partnership for 21st Century Learning Framework (2002), which has shaped our district since 2010 under the visionary leadership of former Superintendent Dr. Kanas. This framework reflects our commitment to forward-thinking education, equipping our students with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly complex world. Aligned with this framework, our Portrait of a Global Leader of Tomorrow serves as a beacon of excellence, outlining the essential attributes students will develop throughout their educational journey.
 

The Strategic Planning Development Team (SPDT), in collaboration with the Center for Educational Innovation, created the original 2020-2025 plan with the voices of our community at its core. Through surveys and discussions with stakeholders, the plan was shaped to focus on three critical areas:
 

• Curriculum: Equipping students for the future with global citizenship and cybersecurity
   
• Communication: Elevating student voices, advocacy, and engagement to foster confidence and
   
• Capital: Enhancing our district’s ability to sustain innovative programs and meet students' evolving
   

As we extend this plan, we reaffirm our district’s commitment to determination, innovation, and excellence in education. Together, we will continue to build a brighter future for every student, celebrating their strengths and supporting them in achieving their dreams.
