Valley Stream District 30 joined Congresswoman Laura Gillen, Gregory May of Island Harvest, and community leaders to champion the bipartisan Feed Hungry Kids Act, which expands access to healthy, nutritious meals for students nationwide.or the past three years, all students in our friendlys schools have received breakfast and lunch at no cost through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), with a fourth year ahead. This legislation lowers the threshold so that more schools across Long Island and beyond can ensure every child has access to meals.
