Ms. Dembinski’s class is learning about how we can care for nature and support local wildlife. As part of their study, students created simple bird feeders using Cheerios to help provide food for birds in our community.
Through this hands-on activity, students learned why birds are important to our environment and discussed how animals need food, water, and shelter to survive. Students are encouraged to hang their bird feeders outside at home and observe the different birds that visit, helping them make meaningful connections between classroom learning and the natural world. It was a wonderful blend of science, environmental awareness, and creativity!
