Ms. Dembinski's kindergarten students had a wonderful experience during their visit to the Tanglewood Museum. Students enjoyed exploring the museum, engaging in hands-on learning, and discovering new things throughout their visit. The trip provided an exciting opportunity to extend classroom learning while fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of exploration. It was a memorable day filled with learning, discovery, and fun!
Mr. Winston's class recently visited the Long Island Science Center, where students explored the fascinating science of bubbles through hands-on physics activities. Students investigated concepts such as air pressure, surface tension, and motion while engaging in interactive experiments that made science come alive. The trip provided a fun and memorable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts through real-world exploration and discovery.
Mrs. Phifer’s class went worldwide this week! Students researched 23 countries and presented it with creative posters and digital presentations. Stay tuned for our upcoming culture projects where our global classroom will showcase the 13 countries represented by our students and families!
Ms. O'Brien's class recently concluded their "How To" Writing Unit with a special family celebration as students became planting experts! Families joined in the fun as students followed step-by-step directions to plant a flower and then showcased their writing skills by teaching others how to do the same. Using sequencing and transitional words, students demonstrated all they had learned throughout the unit. It was a meaningful and memorable experience that allowed our young writers to share their knowledge, celebrate their growth, and watch their learning bloom!
What an exciting day for our Pre-K students in Mrs. Forcina's, Ms. Sinclair's and Mrs. Belmonte's classes. Today we celebrated an amazing year that was filled with discovery, creativity and growth. Families joined us as we celebrated all of their hard work, learning, friendships and unforgettable memories made this year. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and know that they are ready for their next adventure in Kindergarten!
