Upon leaving the Plant Sale today, we noticed a baby bird in distress. Adam Forthofer immediately showed great compassion and concern for the bird’s safety and wanted to help. Together, we quickly found Mr. Smith, who assisted with the rescue. Thanks to their care and teamwork, the baby bird was safely moved to a protected area out of harm’s way.

Mrs. Forcina’s Pre-K class had a wonderful time getting their hands a little messy while learning all about plants! Students planted grass and zinnia seeds, explored what plants need to grow, and observed how sunlight, water, air, and soil help living things thrive. Through hands-on activities and observations, students also learned about the parts of a plant and the important job each part has. Our young gardeners loved watching their plants grow and caring for them each day!
