Ms. Marino"s classes had a blast celebrating the 67th day of school with fun, hands-on activities all inspired by the number 67! Ms. Roberts class celebrated by playing a math game, Roll To 67!, modeling each number in different ways, thinking about what we would be like in 67 years, and doing 67 exercises!
Our Snow Pals even joined in the celebration!

Our Drone Club took flight as students explored the exciting world of drone flying, practicing control, teamwork, and problem-solving. From takeoff to landing, students demonstrated focus, creativity, and a growing understanding of technology as they navigated their drones through hands-on challenges. An amazing example of learning soaring to new heights!

Ms. Yochai’s class, students had fun learning math in a festive way by using a dreidel and coins for hands-on math games. This engaging activity helped students practice skills while making learning interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable.

Ms. Milata’s students are working in small groups to write short responses about The Celestial Railroad. After drafting, they revisit their work using an editing checklist to review spelling and punctuation, strengthening their writing through collaboration and careful revision.

Ms. Lichter’s class learned all about Hanukkah through reading Latkes and Applesauce. Students identified examples of figurative language and answered comprehension questions to deepen their understanding of the text. They then wrapped up the lesson by learning how to play dreidel, combining literacy and cultural learning in a fun, engaging way.

Ms. Belmonte’s Pre-K class had a wonderful time visiting the Holiday Boutique! Students loved shopping for special gifts and proudly selecting presents for their family members, making the experience both joyful and meaningful.

Mr. Smith’s students put their engineering skills to the test in the STEAM Lab as they designed and built spoon racers during science class. Through hands-on exploration, students experimented with design, problem-solving, and teamwork while learning how creativity and science come together

Ms. VanKeurn’s social studies class stepped back in time by creating papyrus paper, just as the ancient Egyptians once did. Through this hands-on activity, students explored history in a meaningful way while learning about early civilizations and their innovative practices.
