On June 16, kindergartners at Clear Stream Avenue School in Valley Stream District 30 received the red carpet treatment during their moving up ceremony.
Held in the school’s gymnasium, students dressed to impress as they proudly marched down the red carpet in front of their parents, siblings, and teachers. Students then performed a collection of songs for their family members, and Principal John Singleton recognized each student for all of their accomplishments. Afterward, each student received a certificate from their teachers. Additionally, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Roxanne Garcia-France celebrated the kindergartners on taking the next step to first grade.
The district congratulates Clear Stream Avenue’s youngest learners on taking the next step in their educational journeys.
