Students in Ms. Tymeck’s class at Forest Road have begun the New York
State English Language Arts module that is focused on the study of
frogs. They have learned many new vocabulary words and interesting
facts about these amazing amphibians. Mrs. Costa has incorporated this
fun topic by carrying over the unit into the speech and language room.
The children were thrilled when Mr. Laudano came into the classroom to
visit with one of school's very own frogs named “Piggy.” The students in
Ms. Tymeck’s class had an opportunity to hold and observe the
Argentinian Horned frog and share some of their newly learned frog facts
with Mr. Laudano. We all can’t wait to keep hopping along with this
exciting exploration!
