During Valley Stream District 30’s virtual board of education meeting on Feb. 8, three staff members were officially appointed to permanent positions in the district. The Board approved the appointment of David Lefkowitz, full-time clerk typist in the technology department, along with Suzanne Brady and Teresa Fergus, full-time account clerks in the business department.

“All three have demonstrated a level of proficiency that is expected by all of its employees in the Valley Stream 30 School District,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Nicholas Stirling. “We are happy to have them on board.”

Mr. Lefkowitz, Ms. Brady and Ms. Fergus were welcomed into the district at the end of August 2020 and were recommended for permanent placement due to their hard work and dedication during these past few months. Mr. Lefkowitz was commended by Administrative Director for 21st Century Learning Susan Rodriguez for his outstanding efforts, while Ms. Brady and Ms. Fergus were praised by Assistant Superintendent for Business Brian Phillips for their positive contributions.

The district congratulates all three staff members on their well-deserved permanent positions!
