Students throughout the district participated in an array of fun activities to celebrate their 100th day of school on Feb. 16.

Shaw Avenue Elementary School students completed 100 exercises to support the district’s “Let’s Move” initiative. In addition, students celebrated by getting creative and making jewelry with 100 pieces of fruit loops and cheerios, as well as designing t-shirts with 100 stickers and candies.

Both Clear Stream Elementary School and Shaw Avenue Elementary School facilitated a 100-day fashion show where students dressed as 100 year olds and showcased their outfits for their peers.

Forest Road Elementary School students in kindergarten and first grade commemorated the 100th day of school by taking part in a parade around the building. Classmates cheered as they passed through the hallway while singing songs and playing instruments. Teachers Rene Herman and Christopher Onorato led the parade dressed as their “post retirement” selves.
